World’s most innovative fintech figures featured in 2021 Fintech Power50 List

The selection of top 40 groundbreaking fintech and ten of the top global influencers has recently been released. The 2021 Fintech Power 50 was unveiled live on stage at Fintech Week London on July 13.  With the participation of almost 1000 firms nominated and 15,000 votes cast, this year has not only exceeded but shattered expectations.

The Fintech Power 50 is a prestigious yearly event that serves as a catalyst for transformation and innovation in the financial services sector. This year's confirmed participants show an expanded geographical dispersion for the 2021 cohort, including fintech from not only the UK and Europe, but also North America, Asia, and MEA.

A list of 300 individuals is announced by Mark Walker, the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Fintech Week London. The event appears as the first physical fintech event in the UK since the worldwide epidemic and a Fintech Power 50 partner.

“I'm pleased to reveal our final list live at Fintech Week London,” he added. This year has seen not just an uptick in recommendations from the industry, but also a surge in voting, with over 15,000 votes cast.

“It’s been a fantastic year for the Fintech Power 50, and I’m proud to say that our latest cohort will have more of a geographical split as the number of companies included that have headquarters in either Asia or North America has also increased.”

Here are other significant statistics for the 2021 intake, The Fintech Power 50's third cohort:

  • 3 Influencers from Asia-Pacific (out of 10)
  • 3 Influencers from North America (out of 10)
  • 4 Influencers from Europe (out of 10)

Involvement on the distinguished list not only highlights the most exciting companies and informed individuals in the industry, but also provides members with great exposure to The Fintech Power 50's credible network of fintech companies and leaders, as well as invitations to networking events and assistance with talent acquisition.
